Chiang Mai City Temples + Wat Pha That Doi Suthep 

Visit Varorot Market and tour the old. Strolling the large central market with its section Varorot river and back in town next flowers.   Explore the old city visit city with a stop at Wat  Chiang Man (AD 1297), the oldest temple within the city walls; Wat Chedi Luang (AD 1411), where the Emerald Buddha was once enshrined; Wat Pra Singh (AD 1345), housing a very sacred 1,500 year old Buddha image; and Wat Suan Dok (AD 1371), where the ashes of Chiang Mai’s Royal Family are interred. Then drive up to visit Doi Suthep Temple, which is one of the most sacred temples in Chiangmai – Wat  Phrathat Doi Suthep, located on a hilltop in Northern-Thai style and containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha and enjoy seeing panoramic view of the whole city.  The last stop at Wat Jet Yod (A.D.1455) with its seven-spire stupa
